Stripe Bath Interior Design and Decorating Ideas

There are a lot of advantages to going with a stripe bath theme in your room. It does give you color and personality that is still very neutral. It can work for a boy or a girl. Plus it's still a subtle enough look that you can have it for several years.

Use this kind of pattern to solve problems. You might have a lot of different colors in your room that you can't replace but you just aren't in love with. This might be the color of the tile or even that metallic finish of your faucet. The great thing about this pattern is that you can incorporate the colors you hate along with colors that you love. You might have a vintage pink bathroom tile. In this case you are going to want to find a black or brown stripe that will also incorporate pink into it. This will give them a masculine touch to the room and still relate back to the vintage pieces.

You can also use this pattern and a neutral bathroom. Often times in these kind of spaces your bathroom might look exactly the same as your neighbors. However, you might like to bring a peaceful feeling in so you don't want to add in a lot of color. This can really maximize small spaces. Instead, you could just find a striped shower curtain that will have neutral colors along with bold colors or just all neutral colors. For instance you could find a sheer tone on tone cream colored shower curtain. You'll need to use a liner with it but it will have a beautiful texture and shimmering to your space.

You can use this kind of material on the more than just your shower curtain. You could even paint this on the walls. Of course you are going to want to have a wall without a lot of texture because you really to you need to focus in on keeping it clean with crisp lines otherwise it will just look amateur. Often times, if you're using wallpaper, you probably wallpaper all of the walls. This could be a mistake especially when you are working with a small enough area. This can seem like a circus or a farmhouse. Instead, you can use it sparingly. You could just use it on one wall. This could even be the same wall as the mirrors and vanity so it will just use less wall space. Plus, this will probably be the focal wall to your room.
